Residents being prepared for possible evacuation
By Mary O'KEEFE
Homes in La Crescenta and La Canada that have been previously identified
at risk by L.A. County Public Works are being contacted by sheriff's
deputies to prepare for possible evacuation if rains increase.
Sheriffs are knocking on doors to notify residents of the increased concern.
For those living west of Pennsylvania in the Glendale portion of the
foothills, an increase in police, fire and public works presence is
expected throughout the night as they monitor the hillsides.
